Hello
My name is Taylor Malone.
Dog lover, photographer, horse girl, Jesus Christ. That about sums it up! I never can recall a time in my life where I didn't have a dog in our home. Dogs have always been a huge part of my life. Especially when I moved out on my own and rescued my own pets. Riley and Darcy are my world and you'll be seeing a lot of them here. I love life and all the wild adventures it brings. I love to freeze those moments in time and cherish them forever. Photography is another huge passion of mine and I love to incorporate that into my dog grooming. 'I want to show you how I see life' is my moto. The very first memory I ever had was waking up on Christmas Day one year to a huge horse stuffed animal in my living room. Horses are a part of my DNA and there is no taking that away. Horse girls, you know what I'm talking about.. I have been blessed with the experiences of owning and caring for many different animals throughout my life. Dogs, cats, show goats and heifers in high school, all kinds of livestock, and a wide variety of horses the years following. There is something special about loving animals and I want to share that with others while helping provide a need in their life. Jesus Christ. This is the one. The only reason I am able to do what I do. He saved me, gave me a new life, gave me hope. I will forever give Him all the glory and honor he deserves!

ABOUT RILEY
The goodest boy in all the land.
The best spotted boy.Riley, Riles, Bubba, Bubba Boy are a few of his many titles.
Riley came to me in 2019 when I was looking for a playmate for my other dog at the time Jags. I wanted to find Jags a playmate with the same energy level because boy was that one wild!
I lived in an apartment at the time and found Riley at our local animal shelter. They only had 4 dogs total and he was the next one to be put down as he was nearing the end of his allotted time there. I took home a skinny spotted boy and hoped him and Jags would love each other. They did but we soon found out Riley loves nothing more than his ball!
He quickly became a big part of my family. Everyone that met him, loved him.
He lived with me at a Polo Club for nearly three years and had a huge fan base of all the polo kids at every tournament we went to. Those big brown eyes were suckers for little kids and they all fell for the "throw my ball" plea he gave them. Half the time I saw him running around with kids I had no idea who they were ( and I highly doubt they knew I was Rileys mom) But Riley knew them, and they knew him. It was quite funny to watch.
Riley has always been the type of dog that just knows what you're saying at all times and wants to please. He is a lover but don't underestimate him when that ball comes out. He will chase it unit he can't breathe anymore.
Riley has been with me through so many changes in my life. Stepping into adulthood at 19 in my own apartment and finding my way in my career, to getting married and buying a house, to now bringing a little one into the world. Riley has been there through it all.
It's a very special thing to have such a great dog with you through each phase of life. I wish he could understand how special he is. He is 8 years old this year and is slowing down on some things. He likes to lay around bit more than he used to.. My heart hurts a little every time I see him aging.
I felt it was only fitting to start out my own grooming business in my home as a tribute to the amazing years I've had with Riley. There will never be another dog like him to me. He is truly a once in a lifetime companion.
This is Rileys Place.
